Kitchen Duct Cleaning

What it is: the complete cleaning of a commercial kitchen's grease exhaust system — canopy/hood, baffle filters, ductwork, extract fan and rooftop discharge — scraped, degreased and pressure-washed back down to bare metal, not just wiped on the surface.

Why it matters: every hour a grill, fryer or wok station runs, it sends grease-laden vapour into the hood above it. That vapour cools and sticks to the inside of the duct as a thick, flammable film. It's invisible from the kitchen floor — but it's the single most common fuel source behind commercial kitchen fires, and the first thing a fire investigator or insurer checks after one.

How often should you clean it?

Charcoal & solid-fuel cooking: monthly. High-volume 24-hour or wok kitchens: every 3 months. Standard full-service restaurants: every 6 months. Low-volume or seasonal kitchens: at least once a year. These bands follow the same logic used by IKECA and NFPA 96 internationally, scaled to how much grease your kitchen actually produces.

How it's done

Every job is documented from the first look to the final sign-off.

A borescope camera checks the full duct run before we touch anything, so we know exactly what we're dealing with.

STEP 02Protect the kitchen

Cooking surfaces, floors and equipment nearby are covered before any cleaning starts.

STEP 03Strip & soak filters

Baffle filters are removed and soaked to break down hardened grease.

STEP 04Manual degreasing

Hood, duct interior and fan housing are hand-scraped and scrubbed down to bare metal.

STEP 05Pressure rinse

Every surface is rinsed clean and the extract fan is rebalanced.

STEP 06Sign-off & report

A dated inspection tag goes on the hood, plus a before/after report for your records.

Air Duct & HVAC Cleaning

What it is: cleaning the supply and return ductwork, diffusers, coils and air-handling components that move conditioned air through a building — removing the dust, fibres, mould spores and debris that build up inside the system over time.

Why it matters: a building's HVAC system recirculates the same air over and over. Whatever settles inside the ducts gets breathed back in by everyone in the building, and a fan pushing air through a dust-choked duct works harder — and costs more — to do the same job.

How often should you clean it?

General guidance (NADCA-style) puts most commercial systems on a 3–5 year cycle. Hospitals, food processing and high-dust facilities do better on a 1–2 year cycle. Clean immediately after renovation work, water damage, or any sign of mould or pest activity, regardless of when the last service was.

Ice Blasting

What it is: a non-abrasive cleaning method that fires dry-ice pellets — frozen CO₂ — at high velocity onto a surface. The pellets sublimate (turn straight to gas) on impact, so the grease, carbon or soot they lift away leaves with them. No water, no chemicals, and no secondary waste to clean up afterwards.

Why it matters: some equipment simply can't be hosed down or scrubbed with chemicals — electrical panels, motors, ovens and printing presses need a dry, non-conductive method that gets them back into service the same day.

How often should you do it?

Ice blasting isn't a fixed weekly or monthly routine — it's scheduled around your equipment. Most heavy machinery and commercial ovens benefit from a deep blast during annual or biannual shutdown maintenance, before major carbon build-up sets in, or as a one-off response after fire or smoke damage.

Window & Glass Cleaning

What it is: professional interior and exterior glass cleaning for storefronts, curtain walls and high-rise facades, using squeegee and pure-water fed-pole systems — with ladders, lifts or rope access for anything above ground level.

Why it matters: Bahrain's mix of fine dust and coastal salt spray builds up on glass fast. Beyond the obvious first-impression problem, that film gradually etches into the glass and frames if it's never properly removed.

How often should you clean it?

Street-level storefronts: monthly to quarterly given the dust and salt air. High-rise facades: quarterly to twice a year depending on exposure and prevailing wind. Clean sooner after construction work nearby or a sandstorm.
